Madeline Bay -Guest Choreographer
Madeline began her training at Illinois Ballet Theater. In her teen years she studied under scholarships with the Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, and Texas Ballet Theater. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a double emphasis in ballet performance and teaching essentials. She has been with the Ballet Idaho company for thirteen seasons and is currently a soloist. She also dances with Terpsicorps and ARC Dance. We were so honored to have her work with the dancers this season as a guest choreographer!

Anissa Bailis– Guest Teacher/Coach
We are so excited to announce that Anissa Bailis will be coaching our soloists this season! Anissa began her training with International Ballet Academy. She received training on full scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet in their Professional Division and has placed top 12 at YAGP in both classical and contemporary. She has danced with the Ballet Idaho company for eight seasons and is currently a soloist.

Melissa Petty– Guest Choreographer
Melissa trained at Eagle Performing Arts Center as well as Ballet Idaho Academy. She has over a decade of teaching experience working with Treasure Valley Ballet Academy , Idaho Dance Academy, among others. She is also currently a company dancer at Explore Dance Company. We thoroughly enjoyed having Melissa create an original six minute piece for our Idaho Dance Theatre project last year! It was truly a captivating performance!

Lesley Thompson – Guest Teacher and Choreographer

Lesley Thompson, is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She has trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap and modern dance. Lesley has performed with companies such as Idaho Dance Theatre and Off Center Dance. In addition to performing Lesley has been a dance educator for over 20 years at top dance studios throughout the Seattle area, Las Vegas, and Idaho. She is currently the Ballet Director at Dance Unlimited in Boise. Lesley received her BA in Psychology from Boise State University. She is a certified 200hr Yoga instructor, has a barre certification through Barre Bohemian, and is certified to teach aerial yoga through Flight Room Seattle. She is a judge for Spotlight Dance Cup and Thunderstruck Dance Competitions. Lesley continues to perform, teach and adjudicate here in the Treasure Valley.
